Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Production CNC Machinist/Programmer/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall quality level and production output of assigned machines and must understand the metallurgical aspects of manufacturing. This hands-on role requires an experienced machinist proficient in both Manual and CNC Machining, capable of independent judgment and working under minimal supervision.
salary:
$74,880 - $79,040 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4

High SchoolResponsibilities Set-up tooling, programming, and operating CNC precision lathes, specifically Okuma Lathe 2020 with Okuma controls. Monitor and control all CNC machinery used in the manufacturing of parts and components. Select appropriate tools, load materials, and oversee the entire machining process. Machine various components, including cast flanges, tooling, machines built in-house, and plate flanges Read blueprints and work orders. Check parts dimensions for quality and accuracy using appropriate precision measuring instruments, ensuring parts meet specifications. Fabricate metal parts and operate drills and grinders Troubleshoot malfunctions in computer-controlled machines Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of computer-controlled machines, with major deep cleaning performed twice annually Adjust equipment to ensure accurate measurements and operations. Maintain accurate records of production, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered. Collaborate with supervisors, co-workers, engineers, and production staff to optimize cutting processes and improve efficiency Set and strive to meet production quotas. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
