- Full-time We are searching for Equipment Technicians to work at a Solar Panel Manufacturing Company in Dalton, GA.
The desired candidates possess electrician, PLC, and/or HMI skills and experiences, but we are open to applicants who have related experiences with basic skill sets to diagnose a machine or equipment and maintain it. If you believe you are the one, please send in your resume.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure cleanliness of the machine and machine components by making use of hose, airguns, IPA, clothes, vacuum, and other appliances. Disassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair by using chain falls, hand tools, and jacks. Examine or carry out tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirements. Replace, fix or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specifications. Application of adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment in accordance with stated procedures. Put machine parts together after accomplishing maintenance and repair work. Take off hardened material from machines or machine parts by utilizing power and hand tools jack and sledgehammer, abrasive and other appliances. Adhere to the policies and procedures of the company. Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work a 12-hour swing shift, working 36 hours one week and 48 the next Ability to work weekends and holidays +3 years of cognitive and vocational experience in handling machine and machine parts Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance process Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning Discipline to execute tasks without procrastination Excellent time management skills and execute all orders and/or demands in a timely manner Ability to handle basic tools Strong knowledge of safety precautions Ability to illustrate general maintenance requisite and simple procedures for operation on various pumps including reciprocating, centrifugal, vane, and etc.
