Job Description

Overview Our client in Ellabell, GA is seeking a mechanically strong Machinist Mechanic to support specialized Swiss screw machines used in the production of small, high-precision metal components. This is not a general machine operator role. The equipment and processes are highly specialized and training will be provided directly on the company's proprietary machines. We are looking for someone with solid mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in developing deeper manufacturing and machining skills. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor CNC Swiss lathes to produce precision components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and comparators Ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standard Skills Strong mechanical aptitude (hands-on with tools, equipment, or mechanical systems) Preferred Experience with machining, lathes, mills, or production equipment Exposure to precision manufacturing or machine shop environments Experience operating or troubleshooting mechanical equipment Why This Role Direct training provided on specialized Swiss machines Stable, long-term manufacturing environment Clean, precision-focused production setting Consistent Monday-Friday schedule (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) Detail-oriented and dependable with a steady work ethic Ability to work independently and stay focused in a production setting Organized, self-driven, and serious about learning a specialized trade
