The shift runs from 5:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Thursday (four 10 hour days per week). Pay is commensurate with experience (and may not match Indeed's listed 'estimated pay/salary'). Employees are eligible for health and other insurance on the first day of the month following the first day of employment. We offer 6 different medical plans (through Aetna), 3 of which have free monthly premiums for employee-only coverage. Family/spouse coverage is available too at a cost. Responsibilities

• Set up Swiss CNC machines to produce parts meeting blueprint specifications and tolerances
• Read blueprints to produce parts to specification. Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces
• Make tool changes and adjustments, make holding fixtures
• Monitor parts through production by visual observation and dimensional measurement to ensure products meet specifications. Perform any applicable deburring
• Inspect parts using measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and digital comparator
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks on machines Qualifications
• 4+ years experience as a Swiss CNC Set-Up Machinist in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints and produce parts to specification, and interpret geometric dimensions and tolerance (GD&T)
• Experience in the use of inspection and measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, gages
• Knowledge of a variety of metal materials and their machinability
• Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Quality driven and strong attention to detail.
• AA degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline a plus
