ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The ​Machinist​ will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: Inspection and full remanufacturing of crankcases, cylinder heads, and/or other engine components. Inspection and reworking other various engine components as required. Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction. Safely Load and unload product into a machine Protect machines and machined product by following processes and procedures such as part loading, being in control of the machine, and safely transporting product over short distances. Maintain product quality through monitoring and adjusting offsets as needed. Perform first article and buyoff. Meets production demands. Ability to work overtime as needed. Ability to skillfully operate crankcase remanufacturing machines. Confirming orders into SAP Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS

Experience in general machining practice Ability to read and interpret G-codes, M-codes. Experience with CNC Haas mill setup, proving program

LANGUAGE ABILITY

​​Read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Write and speak simple sentences.​

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY

​​Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10's and 100's. Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.​

REASONING ABILITY

​​Apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.​
