CNC Programmer/Technician:
The CNC Programmer/Technician position entails developing and revising CNC programs using CAD/CAM software in conjunction with detailed technical drawings review. The main responsibilities include programming, setting up, inspecting, and operating machinery as needed, as well as establishing work holding and tooling solutions, and determining proper feeds and speeds. Job Duties & Responsibilities of the
CNC Programmer/Technician:
Must possess a hands-on approach and exhibit determination and commitment towards achieving goals. Proficiency in inputting 3D models into CAD/CAM software for operational purposes. Extensive CNC experience in a job shop setting, with the ability to start performing tasks immediately. Education & Experience Requirements of the
CNC Programmer/Technician:
Proficient in CNC Programming. Proficient in CAD/CAM packages. Fusion 360 is preferred. Skilled in CNC Lathe and CNC Mill machining best practices. Proven track record of 10+ years of successful machining experience with various materials. Experience in a machining environment. Experience with HAAS equipment or Fanuc Controls is advantageous. Adept at creating setup and work instructions for machining components. Proficient in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.). Skilled in interpreting Technical Drawings, particularly GD&T. Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and precision in work. Strong problem-solving abilities and competence in root cause analysis. Excellent team player with effective communication skills. Ability to devise work holding strategies and select appropriate tooling for machining processes.
