This hands-on role focuses on fabrication, repair, modification, and assembly of mechanical components used throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, fabrication experience, and the ability to work independently to build, repair, and improve equipment and parts. Responsibilities Fabricate, repair, and modify mechanical components and equipment Build fixtures, brackets, guards, and custom parts to support manufacturing operations Perform bench work including cutting, drilling, grinding, tapping, fitting, and assembly Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work instructions Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments Support maintenance and production teams with equipment improvements and repairs Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop practical repair solutions Qualifications Previous experience as a Maintenance Machinist, Fabricator, Toolmaker, Millwright, Mechanical Assembler, or similar manufacturing role Strong fabrication and mechanical repair experience Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures Proficient with shop equipment including drill presses, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Why Apply?
