Job Description

Build a Career, Not Just a Job CARR Machine & Tool is a third-generation, family-owned precision CNC shop building aerospace and defense components for customers like Moog, Collins Aerospace, and Boeing. We're AS9100D-certified and hold tight tolerances every single day. We're a tight-knit team, and we're looking to grow it with people who are serious about manufacturing as a career. If you just finished a trade program and you're passionate about the work, we want to talk to you. Experience level matters far less to us than drive and attitude. We don't expect you to know everything yet. What we care about is that you want to invest in yourself the way we'll invest in you. We'll give you the mentorship, the hands-on training, and a clear path to grow into a skilled machinist. As a small, family-owned shop, you won't be a number here, you'll be someone we're building a future with. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC mills Read and interpret engineering prints Inspect your own work using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Work alongside experienced machinists who'll mentor you as you grow Help us run and tend our automation as you build the skills to take on more Take ownership of quality and hold parts to spec What We're Looking For A completed (or in-progress) machining / manufacturing trade program — little to no experience is okay Genuine passion for manufacturing and a desire to build a long-term career in the trade Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in doing things right Ability to read prints (or a willingness to learn fast) A team-first attitude — we look out for each other here U.S. person status required (ITAR/defense work) Why CARR Family-owned and people-first — three generations of investing in our team Modern equipment and real automation — you'll learn the future of the trade, not the past Mentorship and a clear growth path — we promote from within and want to see you advance Tight-knit team of people who are passionate about the craft
