CNC Milling Machinist

CNC Milling Machinist (FANUC Experience Preferred) Overview We are seeking experienced CNC Milling Machinists for 1st and 2nd shift. The 2nd shift receives a 10% shift differential in addition to the hourly rate. There is no waiting period for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, HSA, flexible spending, and life insurance. Typical 2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday, 4:20 PM-2:50 AM . Candidates must be available for overtime , including weekends and peak production times. 1st shift hours are 6am-4:30pm. Job Duties Follow written instructions and read/apply blueprint specifications. Perform a complex series of progressive machining operations to meet exact tolerances and finishing specifications. Perform simple setups on multiple jobs; may operate more than one machine. Check parts for conformance to specifications. Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to read and write English; basic computer skills a plus.

Preferred:

five or more years of combined formal training and experience, or equivalent. Broad knowledge of machining techniques and CNC machine operation. Ability to apply recognized tooling and procedures with close tolerances. Blueprint reading ability. High school diploma/GED or equivalent required. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently; heavier lifting may be required.
