Job Description

Lathe Operator Description We're seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to produce high-quality parts using precision machinery. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to follow process specifications to ensure consistent, reliable output. We're looking for a safety-minded, dependable team player who takes pride in their work and contributes positively to a collaborative manufacturing environment

M-F 2:30 pm-11:30 pm (may require some overtime and weekend hours)

Geneva, IL Perks & Benefits Medical / Dental Insurance 401k Paid Time Off $21.97 / Hour Employment Type & Shifts Full Time Direct Hire 2nd Shift Job Responsibilities Operate assigned machines to produce parts to specification Change perishable tooling and adjust machine settings as needed Use calibrated gauges and in-process control methods to ensure quality Monitor production runs and properly mark/control finished products Complete required paperwork and production records Assist in training fellow operators Perform preventative maintenance on machines Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean, orderly work area Use testing devices, chemicals, and material-handling equipment safely Good speaking, hearing, and vision abilities Excellent manual dexterity Work performed in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and coolants Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 60 pounds Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $21.97 - $21.97 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
