We specialize in small-run projects for food production equipment and feature a fun, positive work environment with a wide variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to independently take a project from programming to final production. If you thrive on variety and independence, take pride in your work, and like a small shop atmosphere with variety, this is the role for you. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Set up, program and operate
HAAS CNC
Mill and Lathe Program using Haas Conversational programing / G-Code A PLUS if you can operate a MANUAL lathe and/or Mill Operate general shop tools such as drill press, grinders, saw, etc. Calculate and adjust machining parameters, including speeds, feeds, depth of cut, and coolant flow Ability to read blueprints/cad drawings and manufacture to print specifications Proficient in the use of micrometers, dial indicators and calipers Capable of holding tolerances up to ±.005 (average) and occasionally ±.001 Collaborate with engineering and assembly teams, especially during prototype builds Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or GED, Technical Training/degree a plus 5+ years of CNC experience Experience with 6061 Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and UHMW/Plastics Conversational programming as well as basic G-Code programming knowledge Ability to write, edit, and troubleshoot programs at the machine controller Ability to read /communicate / follow written work instruction in English Self-motivated, team player who has proven ability to work independently Attention to detail, with a flexible, can-do attitude. Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude, good shop math and problem-solving skills Occasionally able to lift up to 35 pounds, operate a small lift Reliable, consistent work attendance
Details:
First shift: full time. Occasional overtime $30-40/hr
