Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Machinist to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will produce precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements .
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Operating and maintaining industrial machines Producing precision tools Interpreting technical drawings and instructions Ensuring that all operations adhere to safety protocols Checking that all equipment produced works correctly Setting up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing plan Operating equipment to carry out each step correctly Monitoring the production process and intervening when problems arise Inspecting finished parts for flaws and defects Read blueprints and sketches Properly set up, program, operate and disassemble CNC mills and lathes, as well as manual mills and lathes Use CNC software Use precision measuring tools Monitor machine speed Analyze products for quality and defects Smooth part or product surfaces Make part modifications as required Qualification /
Requirements:
Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material Proven experience as machinist Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals Good at math with analytical abilities Demonstrated oral and written communication skills Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective manufacturing plans based on specifications Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process
