Full Job Description Job Description:

The CNC Machinist is responsible for producing high-quality prototype and small-batch parts using CNC milling equipment. This role involves machine setup, operation, and inspection to ensure precision and conformance to specifications. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced in working with tight tolerances in a clean, well-equipped environment.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (4x10 schedule)

Responsibilities:

Run CNC vertical and horizontal mills to produce prototype and small production jobs from start to finish. Set up and tear down precision machining fixtures and cutting tools per job instructions. Verify conformance of finished parts using precision measurement tools. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Deburr and finish parts after machining. Assemble machined components as needed for secondary operations. Load and unload parts safely into CNC machines. Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements:

2+ years of CNC machining experience. Experience operating CNC machining centers; DMG Mori or Haas experience is a plus. Skilled in the use and care of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.). Ability to work within tight tolerances and follow technical specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate a forklift, pallet jack, and overhead crane.
