English or Spanish Job Responsibilities for Manual Machinist position: Machine complex, high‑precision parts for equipment repairs Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining equipment Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Calculate dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, gauges, and measuring tools Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards Identify and report defective materials or equipment issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform mechanical assembly/disassembly as needed Collaborate with team members and support additional shop tasks as assigned Job Requirement for Manual Machinist position: High school Diploma or GED 3+ years of experience operating manual machining equipment preferred Experience in a manufacturing or repair environment Strong blueprint reading and close‑tolerance machining skills Proficient with precision measuring tools Mechanically inclined with strong problem‑solving skills Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods Crane or forklift experience is a plus (training available) Why PROMAN Staffing?
