Job Description

CNC Machinist responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and adjusting CNC machines while supporting equipment performance, part quality, tooling trials, and operator training. Job Requirements CNC machine setup experience CNC machine operation experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience making minor CNC program adjustments Experience performing autonomous maintenance on CNC equipment Experience with repeatable setup methodology Experience with tool management and tool setup procedures Ability to monitor machine performance and part quality Ability to support troubleshooting related to machine performance, tooling, automation, and work cell optimization Experience tracking or supporting equipment performance metrics, including OEE Preferred Skills Advanced CNC Operator or CNC Machinist experience Experience serving as a CNC equipment subject matter expert Experience coaching less experienced CNC operators Experience training operators on standard operating procedures Experience supporting tool trials Experience monitoring tool life Experience coordinating with tooling technicians Experience improving machining work cell performance Job Responsibilities Set up CNC machines for production runs Operate CNC equipment to produce machined parts Read and interpret blueprints for machining requirements Make minor program adjustments to support production and quality needs Perform autonomous maintenance on CNC equipment Monitor equipment performance output metrics Verify quality of parts processed through the machining department Support troubleshooting of machine performance issues Support troubleshooting of tooling performance issues Support troubleshooting of automation issues Coordinate with tooling personnel to trial tools and evaluate tooling performance Monitor tool life and support tooling change decisions Coach less experienced operators on CNC equipment operation Train operators on standard operating procedures, time management, autonomous maintenance, setup methods, tool management, and tool setup procedures Support overall optimization of the CNC work cell
Pay:
