Job Description
Job Overview:
Repairs and maintains die casting machines.Essential Functions:
Repairs electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other equipment related problems. Troubleshoot various makes of PLC. Understanding of Ladder programming. Able to work with up to 480 v. Knowledge of robotic programming and troubleshooting. Performs preventative maintenance on die casting machines. Diagnosis's machine malfunctions and determines need for repairs. May weld broken structural parts using arc-welding equipment. May repair or replace faulty wiring, switches and relays. Maintain inventory of machine parts and fluids. Works overtime as needed. May be required to work any shift. Must perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Group Leader. Keep working area clean, organized and picked up (COP) and follow safety regulations. Must be able to endure strenuous climbing, kneeling, standing, pushing, carrying and bending. May be required to mark and scribe dimensions for new machines set in accordance to blue prints. May be required to tolerate excessive noise, smoke and heat.Job Type:
