You will also contribute to programming by writing or editing G-code, with opportunities to work with modern software tools and advanced CNC equipment. Responsibilities Set up and operate 4-axis CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Perform 1-3 complete machine set-ups per day, including tooling, offsets, and program loading. Handle machine changeovers efficiently to support varying production requirements. Experience writing or editing CNC programs in G-code. Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to inspect parts. Experience with Hurco mills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts. Ability to work effectively in a small team where collaboration is essential. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience writing conversational CNC programs. Additional experience writing G-code programs from scratch. Experience with Hurco CNC lathes. Why Work Here? You will join a small, family-oriented company with a strong, supportive culture where everyone knows each other and works closely as a team. The environment promotes open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect, allowing you to have a visible impact on daily operations. With a single-shift schedule and a manageable pace of set-ups, you can enjoy a more predictable workday and a healthy work-life balance. This setting also offers the opportunity to broaden your skills across multiple machines and technologies, rather than being limited to a narrow role. The shop operates only on first shift, with typical hours of either 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing consistent daytime work.
