Cnc Setup Machinist

Job Title:

Setup Machinist Job Description As a Setup Machinist, you will be responsible for operating both high volume and custom part runs using 4 and 5 axis mills, specifically Mazak's. You will be required to read and interpret prints, set up tooling and jaws, and perform machine setups, with an expectation of completing 1-3 setups per shift. Quality tools will be used for first-piece inspection, and adjustments to CNC machinery will be necessary. Responsibilities Operate 4 and 5 axis mills, particularly Mazak's. Read and interpret blueprints for complex setups. Set up tooling and jaws for machining processes. Perform 1-3 machine setups per shift. Conduct first-piece inspection using quality tools such as micrometers and gauges. Make necessary adjustments to CNC machinery and touch off tooling. Use G&M code for machinery operations. Ensure parts meet client specifications using quality instruments. Produce parts in runs of approximately 40-50. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
