If so, you'll thrive at Overton Industries—where precision engineering supports the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors. The Opportunity In this full-time role based in Mooresville, IN , you'll own end-to-end grinding operations—setting up, dialing in, and validating parts to spec while upholding our safety and quality standards. You Will Decode engineering blueprints and technical drawings to plan your setup. Mount and dress grinding wheels using approved devices; confirm tolerances before cutting chips. Fine-tune speeds, feeds, and parameters for consistent, close-tolerance results. Perform precision grinding on various materials and part sizes across Surface, OD/ID, Wet, and CNC platforms. Measure in-process with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators; document and adjust as needed. Replace worn or damaged wheels and validate machine performance. Keep your cell clean, organized, and safe while following all procedures. Your Background High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years in machining; grinding experience strongly preferred. Comfort with Surface, OD/ID, and Wet grinding; experience with a CNC Grinder is beneficial. Strong command of close-tolerance grinding and finishing practices.
