This position will be responsible for operating manual lathes, mills, drills, and other conventional equipment. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute immediately and grow into a key role on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities Manual Machining Operations Set up and operate conventional lathes, mills, drill presses, and related equipment Follow detailed machining instructions and work orders to produce quality parts Maintain equipment and tools to ensure consistent performance Quality Control & Troubleshooting Perform in-process inspections and adjust setups as needed Identify and troubleshoot problems with setups, tooling, or part quality Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and technical drawings Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other gauges Qualifications Required Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in manual machining Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing instructions Skilled with measurement tools and inspection procedures Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently Reliable work ethic and commitment to safety and quality Preferred Experience Prior work in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments Willingness to train on and support new equipment as needed

Work Environment:

Manufacturing facility with exposure to typical shop floor conditions

Physical Requirements:

Ability to move throughout the facility, including production floor

Pay Range :

$18-$22 per hour (DOE); higher rates considered for strong experience

Hours :
