Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist and become a vital contributor to precision machining operations! In this role, you will set up and operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce high-quality components with exceptional accuracy. Your expertise in CNC machining, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing processes. We're seeking energetic individuals who are passionate about craftsmanship, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to innovative production solutions. Duties Set up and operate CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, including Fanuc controls, to produce precise parts according to detailed blueprints. Interpret technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and blueprints to ensure accurate machining of complex components. Utilize precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions and quality. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, troubleshoot issues promptly, and make necessary adjustments for continuous operation. Apply electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques when required for intricate or hard-to-machine parts. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to lean manufacturing principles to maximize productivity. Qualifications Proven experience setting up and operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes with familiarity in Fanuc controls. Strong knowledge of CNC processing and blueprint reading. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of manufacturing processes. Skilled in using precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for quality assurance. Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings. Familiarity with tooling selection, hand tools, power tools, and tooling maintenance. Ability to work safely with CNC machine tools, forklifts, and other manufacturing tools. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
