• As a Machinist, you won't just run machines—you'll help create precision components that keep the aerospace industry moving forward. From raw materials to flight-ready parts, your craftsmanship directly contributes to safety, performance, and cutting-edge engineering.
• What You'll Do Every Day
• You'll work hands-on in a dynamic shop environment, producing high-quality aerospace components using a mix of CNC and conventional machining: + Mill, drill, bore, and ream parts from extrusions, forgings, plate, and assemblies + Operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines with various controls + Read and interpret blueprints, engineering orders, and technical instructions + Set up machines (with varying levels of independence depending on experience level) + Use precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications + Perform basic CNC program control at the machine + Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain equipment calibration + Troubleshoot machining and quality issues + Collaborate with engineering, quality, tooling, and scheduling teams + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while following all PPE requirements •Work Environment & Physical Requirements•+ Regular standing, bending, crouching, and repetitive motion + Lift up to 50 lbs independently (more with assistance) + Exposure to machine noise, metal dust, and general shop conditions •Qualifications•_Required_•+ Multi-Axis (3, 4, 5)

PREFERRED

+ Siemens Controls and/or Zimmerman or Bavius Machines + Makino/Mag experience + High school diploma or equivalent + Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic + Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures + Willingness to learn CNC machining, shop math (SAE & Metric), and precision measurement tools

• $20.
