CNC Lathe Machinist (Mill Turn) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Lathe Machinist (Mill Turn) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating CNC Lathe machines. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality components according to specifications. The CNC Machinist will work closely with other team members to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Conversation program, set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to manufacture a variety of short parts. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Make machine adjustments as necessary. Program machines. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure product specifications are met. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise during production. Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and enhance product quality. Must also work well as an individual. Maintain product quality. Suggest resolutions to quality issues or concerns Be willing and open to adapting to multiple jobs Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Minimum 5 years experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist in an aerospace environment, required Experience with Mazak machines, preferred Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions. Excellent organizational skills and time management. Communicate effectively with team members. Strong commitment to safety practices in the workplace.
