Hardware Resources wants to talk with YOU! We're seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist to optimize production and deliver high-quality results. You'll work with computer-controlled machines, including routers, drills, and mills to manufacture precision parts and fixtures. You will be part of our highly respected Maintenance Team and be integral to the success of our Wood Plant. Your work will have a direct impact on productivity and profitability. This is a skilled position, requiring experience with CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Setting up machines: prepare and configure equipment to fabricate parts and fixtures; load raw material into the machines; install cutting tools.

Programming and testing:

create operating instructions; define tool paths, cutting speeds, and other parameters; test and troubleshoot programming to ensure accurate operation.

Quality control:

inspect finished products for accuracy and quality; identify any defects or issues and make necessary adjustments.

Communication and safety:

maintain clear communication with all team members; follow all protocols to ensure a secure and safe work environment. Complete machine rebuilds and fabrication of new machines. Education and Required Experience 1-2 years CNC programming school or experience preferred 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience preferred Experience with manual mills, lathes and surface grinder Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills Understanding of mathematics Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Additional Information A post‐job offer drug screen and background check will be performed Hourly position, average 40 hours/week, occasional overtime required Pay rate: $20-30 per hour, depending on experience and knowledge
