The Impact You'll Make As a Machinist Trainee, you'll be stepping into the world of precision manufacturing. You'll learn how to transform raw materials into high-quality, exact-fit components that power industrial equipment . Your work will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of products used worldwide. What You'll Do Learn to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Assist in setting up and operating manual under the guidance of experienced machinists. Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety standards. Participate in on-the-job training sessions to develop skills in machining, tooling, and equipment maintenance. Support production runs by preparing materials, loading machines, and monitoring operations. What You'll Bring A strong interest in mechanical work, manufacturing, or engineering. Basic math skills and the ability to work with measurements. Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to safety. Previous shop or Vocational School training is a plus, but not required—we'll train you.
