Machinist Helper [Full-Time] Axis Machine Works Houma, LA Axis Machine Works is hiring a Machinist Helper to support our shop floor. This is an entry-level role. No experience required. If you are dependable, willing to learn, and good with your hands, we will train you. What you'll do: Assist machinists with setup, loading, and unloading of parts Deburr, clean, and inspect finished parts Keep work areas, tools, and machines clean and organized Move materials and stock as needed Follow safety procedures at all times What we're looking for: Reliable and on time Able to follow written and verbal instructions Comfortable standing for [length of shift] and lifting up to [XX lbs] A strong work ethic and willingness to learn the trade What we offer: On-the-job training with a path toward becoming a machinist
