Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manual Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and set up manual machining equipment to produce precision parts and components according to detailed specifications. Your expertise in mechanical processes, blueprint reading, and measurement tools will ensure the highest quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex manufacturing projects, utilizing your technical skills and passion for craftsmanship. Duties Operate manual lathes, milling machines, and other machining tools to produce parts with precision and accuracy Read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical drawings specifications Measure finished components using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision instruments Set up and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters to meet project requirements Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime Collaborate with engineering and production teams on tooling design, process improvements, and quality control Follow safety protocols diligently. Requirements Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or in a similar role within manufacturing environments Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges. Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machining parameters Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards Valid forklift certification is desirable for material handling tasks Centrifugal pump experience is a desired but not required Join our team as a Manual Machinist where your craftsmanship will directly impact the production of high-quality components. $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
