Job Description

CNC lathe setup and operation role focused on multi-axis turning, complex setups, first article inspection, aerospace materials, and tight-tolerance machining. Job Requirements 5-7 years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments CNC lathe machining experience with C-axis and Y-axis Experience using jaws of various sizes Experience using 16C and 5C collets Multi-axis CNC turning experience Live tooling experience Sub-spindle experience Y-axis turning experience GD&T experience Blueprint reading experience Experience working with tight tolerances Experience performing complex setups First article inspection experience Experience machining hard-to-cut alloys Experience machining heat-resistant aerospace materials Working knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, and FAA quality requirements Experience using inspection tools Experience with precision measuring techniques Preferred Skills Okuma controls experience Fanuc controls experience Aerospace machining experience Experience troubleshooting CNC lathe operations Experience producing high-quality precision parts Experience working from established standards, guidelines, and procedures Job Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes for precision machining work Perform multi-axis CNC turning using live tooling, sub-spindle, and Y-axis capabilities Machine aerospace components from hard-to-cut alloys and heat-resistant materials Use jaws, collets, and workholding methods to support machining operations Perform complex setups and first article inspections Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements Machine parts to tight tolerances Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and techniques Troubleshoot machining issues during setup and production Follow AS9100, NADCAP, FAA, and applicable quality requirements Produce machined parts according to established standards, guidelines, and procedures
Pay:
