Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC lathe set up specialist and programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up/programming/operating CNC lathes to produce precision components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, doing set up independently and programming is a plus, with the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The candidate will contribute to the efficiency and quality of our production operations while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes , ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications. Basic knowledge of program CNC lathes using CAD software to create precise components. Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform setup and adjustments on machines as necessary for production runs. Fabricate parts using hand tools and power tools, ensuring high-quality output. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for improved efficiency. Assemble components as required, following detailed instructions and blueprints. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC lathe operator and set up specialist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of in CAD software for programming CNC machines. Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in machining is a plus.
