Position Overview:

We are seeking a Precision Grinding Machine Operator to set up and operate gear grinding machines. This role involves producing high-quality parts, performing inspections, and maintaining equipment according to technical specifications and blueprints. Training is available for candidates with mechanical experience.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate gear grinding machines using detailed blueprints and technical drawings Inspect finished gears using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs to ensure accuracy Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings to follow proper machining processes Maintain machine tools, including wheel dressing, tool changes, and routine preventative maintenance Work with a variety of materials and gear types Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements

Qualifications:

Previous machining or mechanical experience Gear grinding experience is a plus; training available for the right candidate Ability to read blueprints and work instructions Strong attention to detail and accuracy

$22•25/hour (based on experience)

Operator/Setup Level:

$25•30/hour (based on experience)
