Position Overview:

5-Axis CNC Horizontal Set-Up Machinist We are seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Horizontal Set-Up Machinist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing complete machine setups, operating CNC equipment, and troubleshooting jobs independently. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform full machine setups on CNC horizontal equipment Operate and monitor machines to ensure quality and efficiency Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues Use hand inspection tools to verify part quality Read and interpret blueprints and CNC programs Follow process documentation and work instructions

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience (horizontal machining preferred) Experience setting up and operating 5-axis Haberle and/or Yasda machines Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T Experience using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.) Ability to edit and understand CNC programs Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
