MANUAL LATHE/MILL MACHINIST

Part-time hours available between 6:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday In this role, you will be responsible for setup and operating manual lathes and manual mills to produce precision components that meet our high standards of quality and performance. We are looking for a Manual Lathe and Manual Mill Operators who can read drawings, make offset changes, and use measuring equipment (like a pro). You need to be comfortable working with very close tolerances (thousandths); set up your jobs and run first part, adjust programs when needed. This position is critical in ensuring that we continue to deliver top-notch products to our customers. Responsibilities Set up and operate manual lathes and mills according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings with GD&T requirements. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality standards are met. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Requirements Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Manual Lathe and/or Mill Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes.
