Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision components that meet strict aerospace quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience in both CNC and manual machining and takes pride in accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines for aerospace components Machine parts to tight tolerances in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical documentation Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools Operate manual mills and lathes when required Adjust machine offsets, tooling, and programs to maintain quality standards Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and shop procedures (e.g., AS9100) Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience required Proven experience setting up and running both CNC mills and lathes Hands-on experience with manual mill and lathe operations Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality systems Basic knowledge of G-code editing or programming Experience with tight-tolerance machining and exotic materials
