Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Tsugami Swiss machines to perform precision machining operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Use CAD software to program CNC machines
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
• Proficiency in operating power tools, including lathes and electrical discharge machines (EDM)
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
• Knowledge of plastics injection molding is a plus
