Job Description
Description Barnes Molding Solutions has an exciting career opportunity for a CNC Machinist with experience in gun drilling/ milling/ turning. This position requires a forward thinker with the knowledge and ability to manufacture precision parts for the Plastic Injection Industry. This role will require travel to our Peabody MA site for training. If you are a talented and motivated CNC Machinist, that thrives in a high precision environment, please submit your resume for further consideration.
Determine the appropriate tooling, work holding, and machining process needed to produce a high-quality metal part.
Set up and run CNC Mills and CNC gun drill in a timely mannerProduce high quality products.
Check all machined parts to the dimensions specified on the engineering drawing and conform to all operator certification requirements.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Work to verbal and written instructions.
Support an environment of growth and enthusiasm with other associates.
Good math skillsUse of measuring toolsKnow and understand "Quality at the source"Understand and practice safe working methodsJob Shop experienceSolidWorks/MasterCam experienceCNC milling and/or gun drilling experience.

Qualifications:
10 years' experienceAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsKnowledge of tooling and machining techniquesAbility to work independently.Good math skillsUse of measuring toolsKnow and understand "Quality at the source"Understand and practice safe working methodsJob Shop experienceSolidWorks/MasterCam experienceCNC milling and/or gun drilling experience.
