Your Role:
CNC Machinist Department:
Machining Reports To:
Production Supervisor You'll be responsible for producing precision-machined parts using both CNC mills and lathes. This includes setup, programming, and operation while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and program CNC lathes and mills. Write and edit CNC programs using G & M code on Fanuc controls. Program using Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 (preferred). Operate and troubleshoot Haas, Fadal, and Mori Seiki CNC machines. Machine parts to tight tolerances, with a focus on stainless steels. Calculate and adjust speeds and feeds for optimal performance. Perform inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts. Solid understanding of precision machining practices. What You Bring 5-7 years of CNC machining experience in a job shop environment. Proficiency with CNC mills and lathes. Strong knowledge of G & M code programming on Fanuc controls. Experience with Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 preferred. Experience operating Haas, Fadal, and Mori Seiki machines. Familiarity with machining stainless steels, including speeds/feeds calculations. Manual lathe and mill experience a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements & Safety Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Must wear safety glasses and steel-toe shoes on the production floor.
