Job Description

CNC Machinist (Milling / Turning / Gun Drilling) - 1st Shift | Direct Hire Livonia, MI 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Up to $30/hour The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team is partnering with a precision manufacturing organization seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support high-precision machining operations for custom tooling and mold components. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-driven, tight-tolerance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings to manufacture precision components Determine appropriate tooling, workholding, and machining processes Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and gun drilling equipment Inspect finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications Maintain accurate documentation and follow operator certification requirements Follow verbal and written work instructions Maintain a safe and organized work environment Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with team members to support production goals
Qualifications:
10+ years of CNC machining experience Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills Experience with CNC milling and/or gun drilling Knowledge of tooling, machining processes, and precision measurement Experience in a job shop environment preferred Familiarity with SolidWorks and/or Mastercam Strong math skills and ability to work independently Commitment to "quality at the source" and safe work practices Willingness to work within
ISO / QS 9000
standards
Additional Details:
Training will include travel to a facility in Massachusetts Stable, team-oriented environment with a focus on precision and continuous improvement

Pay Details:
