CNC Swiss Machinist

Activar's Plastics Products Group is hiring a Swiss CNC Machinist at our growing Bloomington, MN production facility. Our standard shift is Monday - Friday, 7am to 3:30pm but we can offer flexibility.

CNC Machinist General Responsibilities :

Sets up and operates CNC machining centers to machine small quantities of plastic parts. You will set up and run Haas turning centers or routers to produce a wide variety of parts. Most jobs are 1 to 50 parts.

Must be able to:

Reads and interprets engineering drawings, blueprints, edit programs, set up tools and offsets, use standard measuring tools, and shop orders/jobs to determine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation. Inspect and measure work to ensure products are within print specification. Calculates and set feeds and speeds to produce good parts. Work with others to resolve machining or assembly problems. Other duties as assigned.
