About Us:
Custom Products is a GROWING cab and ROPS structure manufacturer- A financially stable, family-owned company since its inception in 1959.
Shift Part Time Job Details:
Machinists at Custom Products of Litchfield support the fabrication and production of operator protective structures, cab components, and custom metal assemblies for off‑highway equipment OEMs. This role contributes directly to safety‑critical, ISO‑regulated manufacturing operations.Duties:
Primary Responsibilities Set up, operate, and adjust CNC and/or manual machining equipment to produce precision components for cab assemblies and protective structures Machine parts from steel, aluminum, and tubing materials according to engineered drawings and specifications Read and interpret engineering blueprints, CAD-derived drawings, and job travelers Maintain tight tolerances required for safety‑criticalROPS/FOPS/OPS
components Perform in‑process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments Verify parts meetISO 9001
quality standards and production requirements CNC & Machine Operations Load tools, fixtures, and materials into machining centers Edit offsets, feeds, and speeds as required to ensure proper part quality Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to prevent defects or scrap Document setup changes and inspection results per company procedures quality Typical Skills & Qualifications Used CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes) Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation Precision measurement and inspection Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving Understanding of ISO‑regulated manufacturing environments Experience machining components used in structural or safety‑related applications You'll get out of this position everything you put into it.
