Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Swiss Machinist to support the production of precision medical device components in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role requires strong technical machining ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, compliance, and repeatable precision. You will operate Swiss-style CNC lathes to produce tight-tolerance, high-volume components used in critical healthcare applications. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain CNC Swiss-style lathes (e.g., Citizen, Star, Tsugami, Tornos) Manufacture complex, tight-tolerance medical device components in accordance with engineering drawings and GD&T requirements Perform machine setups including tooling selection, offsets, bar feed setup, and program verification Conduct in-process inspection using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, CMM where applicable) Ensure all parts meet strict dimensional and cosmetic quality standards (often ±0.0002"-0.0005" tolerances) Follow

, FDA-regulated manufacturing processes, and internal quality system procedures Document production data, inspection results, and process adjustments in compliance with quality system requirements Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency Collaborate with quality, engineering, and validation teams on process improvements and first article inspections (FAI) Maintain clean, controlled, and organized work environment consistent with medical device standards Required Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of CNC Swiss machining experience (medical device or other high-precision manufacturing strongly preferred) Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills Experience working in tight-tolerance manufacturing environments Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Swiss-specific platforms Proficiency with precision inspection tools and quality verification methods Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Understanding of regulated manufacturing documentation and quality systems Preferred Qualifications Experience in medical device, aerospace, or other regulated industries Familiarity with
ISO 13485 , FDA
