Job Description

Machine Builder 1st Shift | Flexible Hours | $28-$35/hr (Based on Experience) Build Machines That Matter If you're a hands-on Machine Builder who takes pride in precision, problem‑solving, and seeing a machine come to life because of your work—this is the role for you. What You'll Do You'll be an integral part of building high‑quality automated machinery from the ground up.
Your day-to-day work will include:
Building and assembling precision mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Assembling sub‑assemblies and complete machines using SolidWorks models, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and electrical schematics Assisting with machine power‑up, verifying I/O, and confirming overall functionality Collaborating with engineers and fellow builders to troubleshoot, debug, and refine machines Participating in machine testing, validation, and tear‑down for shipment Performing basic part fabrication and modifications as needed Verifying fit, finish, and proper function of assemblies Contributing to clear and accurate project documentation Tools & Equipment You'll Use You'll work with professional‑grade tools in a true machine‑building environment, including: Hand and power tools Precision measuring instruments Grinding, sanding, and polishing equipment Lathes, mills, drill presses, hydraulic presses Fork trucks and shop equipment What We're Looking For Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Proven machine building or industrial assembly experience Ability to read and interpret assembly prints and electrical schematics Hands‑on experience with pneumatics and hydraulics Detail‑oriented mindset with pride in craftsmanship Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to collaborate Why You'll Love Working Here Small shop, big impact - About 10 employees, everyone knows your name and values your contribution Flexible 1st‑shift hours to support work‑life balance Competitive pay that rewards your experience and skill set A collaborative, low‑ego environment where builders are respected Opportunities to grow your skills and take on more responsibility over time Work Environment You'll work in a clean, organized shop with a collaborative, family‑style culture. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Maple Grove, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
