AB_4945690 Randstad Staffing has partnered with a job shop styled machine shop in Maple Grove, MN in sourcing candidates for their CNC Mill Operator and CNC Mill Machinist positions on a Direct-Hire basis. The CNC Mill Operator role is seeking operation experience on Vertical Mill Mori or Okuma machinery. The CNC Mill Setup Machinist/Programmer role requires the ability to program on Mastercam or Gibbscam, design custom work-holding solutions and execute complex setups for both prototype and short-run production. Will run end-to-end production of high-complexity, tight tolerance components.

High School Responsibilities Advanced Programming & Setup:

Create clear, logical Mastercam programs for multi-axis machines. Execute setups for high-complexity parts featuring interrelated tolerances as tight as +•.0001".

Fixture Design:

Design, fabricate, and implement innovative work-holding fixtures to stabilize difficult geometries and optimize cycle times.

Quality Ownership:

Perform rigorous in-process inspections using CMM, vision systems, and manual metrology tools. Exercise the "Authority to Halt" any process or shipment due to quality or safety non-conformance.

Team Leadership:

Train, coach, and mentor Level 1-3 Machinists. Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting programming and mechanical issues.

Process Collaboration:

Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Quality departments to refine QMS-compliant processes and facilitate a continuous improvement culture.

Maintenance:

Perform advanced preventative maintenance on CNC mills and lathes to ensure longevity and precision.
