Zero-Max is currently recruiting for a Machinist 2 who will be responsible for the set-up and operation of one or more machine tools with the experience level to be proficient with little supervision Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sets-up machine Operates machine Maintains current set-up sheets and program files Instructs less skilled operators Performs finishing work such as deburring, parts washing, etc. Maintains a clean and safe workplace

Requirements:

Education/Qualifications Requires education generally equivalent to an associate degree in Machining with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with general machine shop equipment; or a combination of relevant education and experience. Required Skill Proficient using general measuring instruments and some speed and feed calculations Ability to efficiently and successfully perform basic machine setups Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
