• 4:00 PM Looking for a skilled CNC Machinist who enjoys complex setups, precision work, and producing high-quality parts?

Join our team in Waconia and work a consistent 4-day work week with opportunities to grow based on your machining expertise. Pay is based on experience and machine specialization, including areas such as: Medium Lathe L25SY Lathe Horizontal Machining CNC Lathe Operations CNC Vertical Mills As a Machinist III , you will be responsible for maintaining quality standards while setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and improving machining processes across a variety of CNC equipment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mills and other machining equipment Perform machining operations to manufacture precision components and tooling Interpret blueprints and work from GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Read, understand, and modify CNC programs as needed Write simple CNC programs for machining operations Diagnose machining and tooling issues and implement corrective actions Use precision measuring equipment including: Micrometers Calipers Bore Gauges Inside/Outside Gauges Maintain tight tolerances and verify part quality Follow standard work instructions, setup documentation, and quality procedures Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Complete machine upkeep including tooling changes, chip removal, and autonomous maintenance Meet production expectations while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications:

Applied Science Degree in Machine Tool Technology ( preferred ) High school diploma or equivalent required Additional technical training in an approved machinist program preferred 1-2+ years of machining experience required Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, shop math, feeds, and speeds Experience developing or modifying tooling preferred Ability to troubleshoot machining and setup challenges independently Experience maintaining close tolerances and high-quality output Strong blueprint reading and mechanical aptitude

Physical Requirements:
