CNC Machinist 2nd Shift Or Weekend

CNC Machinist- Mills/Lathes- Up to $38/hr. 2nd or Weekend shifts Medical, Aerospace, Metal industry! Apply Now! We're hiring a CNC Machinist to join a well-organized, high-tech machine shop specializing in electronic and mechanical drive systems. You'll work with multi-axis lathes and Haas mills in a clean, climate-controlled environment, setting up machines, inspecting parts, and performing minor program edits. What You'll Do Operate multi-axis lathes and Haas mills Set up machines with proper tooling and perform tool changes Inspect parts using dial micrometers, digital calipers, and height gauges Perform minor program edits as needed Complete short and long-run jobs (2-3 setups per week) Use iPads for documentation and job tracking Work primarily with aluminum and steel materials What You Bring 3+ years of recent experience with CNC mills or lathes set up Comfortable with machine setup and tooling Experience with multi-axis lathes and Haas mills (preferred) Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers and calipers Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn Why You'll Love It Competitive pay — $28 to $40/hr based on experience Monday-Thursday schedule with long weekends every week Clean, climate-controlled shop with modern equipment Great company culture and team environment Opportunity for long-term growth with a global leader in drive technology Contract-to-hire pathway with career advancement potential Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Shakopee, MN.
