You will commonly be studying blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of final work pieces. We are conveniently located in Lee's Summit, MO. We offer competitive pay with hours of 7-5:30 Monday-Thursday with some opportunity for overtime on Fridays. This is a physically demanding job so you must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time, and you must be able to lift and/or move up to 75lbs. The CNC Machinist performs activities such as set up, operation, quality assurance, and works within the schedule for production and timely delivery of the final product to the customer. Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:  Produce new components by converting 2D, 3D, blueprint and field drawings into machined components on the CNC mill or lathe and/or the manual mill or lathe  Must be able to write G code programs by manually entering or by using CAD system for
OKUMA, MORI
SEIKI, or
MILLTRONICS
 Confirms materials and matching job production orders.  Verifies cutting tools and cutting sequences  Set up and operate CNC 3 axis, milling machines as well as utilizing manual mill and lathe.  Maintains a safe and highly organized work area.  Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or GED required with previous experience in operating of CNC machines preferred.
