Job Description

We are an air-conditioned, custom machining and fabrication shop that takes pride in the skill-set of the individuals working with us and want to add to our team.
Duties Include:
Program, set-up, and operate Mazak CNC lathe to produce precision parts according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures - Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to ensure proper dimensions and finish of the parts Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers Follow quality control procedures to ensure that all parts meet specifications
Experience:
Proficient in programming and operating a Mazak CNC lathe using Mazatrol is required Proficient in reading blueprints and engineering drawings Familiarity with hand tools, tooling, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments Experience programming with Mastercam is a plus Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices Excellent mathematical skills for performing basic calculations This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and have a commitment to producing high-quality work.

$25.00 - $42.00 per hour
