Job Description

Berlin Foundry & Machine Company is seeking an experienced CNC & Manual Machinist to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in precision work, problem solving, and producing high-quality parts in a manufacturing environment. This position requires strong experience operating both manual including a lathe and milling machine and CNC machines,. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently while also contributing to a team-focused shop environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining equipment Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Maintain tight tolerances and perform quality inspections Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues Work with a variety of materials and custom projects Assist with fabrication and shop projects as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Extensive machining experience required Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, feeds, and speeds Ability to read precision measuring tools and blueprints Experience with CNC programming and setup preferred Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work independently and manage projects efficiently

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
