Job Details Responsibilities:
1. Setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring that all parts are machined in accordance with specified plans and blueprints. 2. Interpreting complex engineering drawings and translating them into a series of machining tasks. 3. Programming CNC machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches. 4. Maintaining quality and safety standards by adhering to procedures and regulations. 5. Monitoring the feed and speed of machines during the machining process and making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy. 6. Inspecting finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications. 7. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with machines and production processes. 8. Performing routine maintenance on machinery and systems to ensure optimal performance. 9. Collaborating with the engineering team to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist in the engineering industry. 2. Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. 3. Extensive experience with CNC programming, including G Code and M Code. 4. Strong knowledge of machining operations and processes, including milling, drilling, and turning. 5. Proficient in using and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). 6. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints. 7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. 8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. 9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 11.
