Job Description
Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and inspect Swiss-style CNC machining operations for precision component production. Job Requirements Experience setting up and operating CNC machines Strong understanding of G-code and CNC programming edits Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Ability to understand GD&T Experience working with tight tolerances Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers Mechanical aptitude Familiarity with ISO requirements Knowledge of safety and quality standards Preferred Skills Experience in CNC Swiss machining Experience installing tooling and adjusting offsets First-piece inspection experience Experience optimizing CNC programs and machining processes Experience troubleshooting Swiss CNC machine issues Experience maintaining setup and production documentation Job Responsibilities Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements Install tooling and adjust machine offsets Perform first-piece inspections Optimize programs and processes for production efficiency and quality Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools Maintain documentation for setups and production runs Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ISO requirements Work with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues
